When We Were Five Year’s Old
This is a haiku about childhood memories written as part of a challenge from a fellow writer on Hubpages to write Haiku about childhood. The writer is Susan Zutautas whose pen name is Just Ask Susan.

Kindergarten – A Haiku
When I was a child
A child in kindergarten
I was five years old
*********************************************************************
I was innocent
I did not know pain or loss
I thought life was fair
****************************************************************
Mom and Dad knew all
Everything was possible
Mom and Dad fixed all
*****************************************************************
I would play outside
There was no internet then
Children played with toys.

Joseph-
Hi. I remember that you left a comment on this poem when it was first published on HP. Thanks for leaving another comment and the compliment. It’s nice to be missed.

It was nice to come back and re-visit your Haiku. I always really liked this one and I miss you at HubPages too. But happy that we do follow each other on Facebook.

I liked this Haiku the first time that I read it, and it was nice to re-visit it. I too miss you on HubPages, but I’m glad that we can keep in touch on Facebook.
