When We Were Five Year’s Old

This is a haiku about childhood memories written as part of a challenge from a fellow writer on Hubpages to write Haiku about childhood. The writer is Susan Zutautas whose pen name is Just Ask Susan.

Kindergarten – A Haiku

When I was a child

A child in kindergarten

I was five years old

I was innocent

I did not know pain or loss

I thought life was fair

Mom and Dad knew all

Everything was possible

Mom and Dad fixed all

I would play outside

There was no internet then

Children played with toys.
